"Eternal Sky: A Poem of Infinite Horizons"

 **The Whisper of the Eternal Sky**  

Beneath the vast and endless dome,  

Where stars and dreams alike do roam,  

I stand in silence, small, alone,  

And hear the sky’s eternal tone.  

It speaks in hues of dawn’s first light,  

In amber streaks that pierce the night,  

In twilight’s blush, so soft, so slight,  

A canvas painted pure and bright.  

The clouds, like ships, they drift and sail,  

On winds that tell an ancient tale,  

Of lands afar, where seas turn pale,  

And time itself begins to frail.  

The sun, a king with golden crown,  

Bestows its warmth on all the ground,  

Yet hides its face when night comes down,  

And leaves the world in shadows drowned.  

The moon, a queen of silver grace,  

Her gentle beams the dark embrace,  

She guides the tides, she sets the pace,  

And lights the path for stars to chase.  

Oh, sky, you hold the dreams of men,  

The hopes that rise and fall again,  

You’ve seen the world since time began,  

And watched the birth of every plan.  

You’ve heard the laughter, felt the tears,  

The whispered prayers, the silent fears,  

You’ve witnessed all through countless years,  

The triumphs, losses, joys, and cares.  

And yet, you stay, so vast, so free,  

A mirror of eternity,  

A reminder of what we can be,  

When we look up and truly see.  

For in your depths, we find our place,  

A fleeting moment, time’s embrace,  

Yet in your light, we see the face,  

Of something boundless, full of grace.  

So let me stand beneath your span,  

And learn the truths of who I am,  

For in your reach, I see the plan,  

That binds the earth to heaven’s hand.  

Oh, sky, your whisper soft and low,  

It tells me where the rivers flow,  

It shows me paths I’ll never know,  

And yet, it lets my spirit grow.  

So here I stand, beneath your gaze,  

A mortal lost in time’s great maze,  

But in your light, I find the ways,  

To dream of endless, golden days.  

And when my time on earth is done,  

When I have set, like setting sun,  

I’ll join the stars, I’ll be as one,  

With you, oh sky, eternal, young.
